My heart is full tonight after preaching in the city of Mansa, Zambia. The crowd was so dense on the field tonight that I had to ask for the barriers in the front to be removed for safety reasons. A huge percentage of the crowd was comprised of young people, even children. They were hanging on every word and responding with enthusiasm as I preached on the power of the blood of Jesus!
Tonight I traveled to the district of George, right outside Lusaka (the capital of Zambia). The crowd was heaving and the field looked like it was already too small—and this is only the second day!
Tonight marks the beginning of a brand new milestone for Christ for all Nations, and possibly in the history of missionary evangelism. Tonight, 11 crusades began in 11 different cities/districts throughout Zambia simultaneously! Our first crusade in Zambia was in 1981. Since that time we’ve held a total of 12 crusades here. We will nearly match that total over the next two weeks! Also, this week will mark 38 crusades over the last 38 months and bring our total of documented decisions close to the 90-million mark! What an amazing time to be alive.
Our last Gospel crusade of the year ended on a very high note. The crowds more than doubled the last night. There were many tens of thousands of decisions for Christ documented (the team is still counting the decision cards) and so many amazing miracles took place!
Tonight dark, ominous clouds threatened our program and torrential rains soaked the area surrounding our field, but thankfully, we remained dry. The gospel was preached. The power of God touched thousands of people, and Jesus was glorified! In addition to our Fire conference (in the mornings) and the gospel Crusade (in the evenings), the Bootcamp students have continued their local outreaches as well. As of today, they have conducted 2,862 separate, individual outreaches and have documented 350,693 decisions for Christ!!
The road to get here has been fraught with many dangers, toils, and snares. Actually, it is miraculous that we have made it this far. One of the biggest challenges we had was with the crusade field. There was simply no place in Kumasi large enough to hold the massive crowd that we are expecting to gather—except for one. It’s a 29-acre field (equivalent of 22 American football fields) in the center of Kumasi, but it has been a “sacred” ground and has been off-limits.
Carrying on the legacy of Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke through Christ for all Nations to see souls saved, Evangelist Kolenda has increased the laborers through training hundreds of evangelists in the Christ for all Nations Bootcamp! Evangelists Richard Fullwood and Evelina Smane (Bootcamp grads) were located in Kabwe – one of the five cities where Gospel crusades occurred simultaneously for five days! Keep reading for the incredible stories and testimonies they witnessed in Kabwe!
Over the course of five days during Operation Decapolis we witnessed 635,522 salvations and countless testimonies of miracle healings!
Carrying out five crusades in five different cities simultaneously was a miracle in itself, but we are blessed with an incredible team of technicians, Gospel truck drivers, and anointed crusade organizers and evangelists! The last city Evangelist Daniel Kolenda preached at during Operation Decapolis was in Lusaka (the District of Kanyama), Zambia –
Evangelist Joe Turnbull and Evangelist Tyrelle Smith preached - despite much opposition from the enemy! You might recall from a previous report about the tree that collapsed during the crusade causing the sound system to go out temporarily, and a whirlwind of dust that disrupted the hospitality tent! The crusade continued with these resilient evangelists, who were thoroughly trained by Evangelist Daniel Kolenda in our Evangelism Bootcamp, and our team witnessed incredible testimonies and multitudes give their lives to Jesus because of their determination!
"We felt the Holy Spirit and a fresh outpouring of His presence. Those who were hungry and thirsty for Jesus were filled. We began praying for the sick, and the only explanation for what happened next was that King Jesus Himself stepped onto the field as miracles began to break out all over the field."
