Fire26, Czech Republic

CfaN’s Fire26 Conference in the Czech Republic was one for the history books. The church in the Czech Republic is relatively small, so a Charismatic event like this is something truly special. In fact, it was the first time in 30 years that the local churches had worked together like this, and there were over 50 churches involved!

 

 

The worship was a special treat for local believers, as the songs were in Czech. Led by four local church worship bands, the atmosphere was thick and heavy with the presence of the Lord from the start. We saw a beautiful freedom in the worship as we focused our attention on Jesus. At one point, as a traditional African campaign song was played, the entire hall was dancing with praise!

 

 

 

 

This young man, who served in the worship team, had an incredible story to tell. Back in 1995, Claudio Freidzon came to the Czech Republic. At one of those meetings, a young couple came forward for prayer, bringing with them medical documentation that proved they could never have children. Claudio prayed for them – and nine months later, this young man was born, the first of four children!
