God’s Backup Plan – Nampula, Mozambique
Dear Mission Partners,
This past week, Mozambique was shaken by the Gospel again, this time in the city of Nampula in the north. Evangelist Randy Roberts was on the ground, preaching the Gospel and praying for the sick, as well as hosting a Fire Conference for the local church leadership.
This was the third Gospel Crusade in Mozambique in 2025, a collaboration between CfaN and Evangelist Randys’ ministry, Radical Walk. When the Lord spoke to Randy about Mozambique last year, He gave him three cities to target – Tete, Quelimane and Nampula.
But as the preparations progressed, it became clear that another well-known ministry had already planned a crusade there at the same time. Had Randy misheard the Lord? He didn’t want to tread on anyone’s toes – yet, when he prayed about it, the Lord did not give the go-ahead to cancel. And so, the team continued to prepare.
And wouldn’t you know it? Some months later, the news came that the other crusade had been canceled. But God had a backup plan for Nampula! He had an appointment for this city. On the last night over 130,000 people came to hear the Gospel.
For many, this crusade was also their divine appointment for a miracle! Here are just a few of the wonderful testimonies (more stories and photos on our website).
Julia had been suffering from pain in her feet for the past four years. Her feet often felt like they were burning. During the prayer for healing, she told the Lord that it was about time for this pain to leave her. When the prayer ended, she took off her shoes to test it and realized she was healed. Evangelist Randy held her hand and ran with her. When he asked who had healed her, Julia shouted, “Jesus did!”
Arminda came to the crusade field carried by her daughter. For the past three years, she could not walk. However, there she was, on her feet in front of everyone. Randy took her hand, and they both walked on the platform. When Evangelist Randy asked, “Mama Arminda, who has healed your body?” the whole crowd shouted with her, “JESUS!”
Isabel had a very painful tumor in her gum. It was difficult for her to chew, and it would bleed. Isabel became emotional as she shared that today she could eat without any pain. To test it, Evangelist Randy gave her chewing gum, and she chewed as the whole crowd celebrated.
Fátima Mário had a problem in her right arm that caused pain from her shoulder to her fingers. She had been suffering from this pain since she was 13 years old but now the Lord has healed her. She held Randy's hand and squeezed it, then pushed him away. Randy asked who had healed her, and she said, "Jesus."
Little Laila had a hearing problem. She could speak but had difficulty hearing clearly. After Randy prayed tonight, her mother Olga called her name, and she responded. To test it, Randy asked Olga to tell her daughter to raise her arm when she heard her name—and she did!
Three months ago, Solene had an accident and couldn’t even wash dishes with her right hand. She was healed on Night One, and the next day, she washed all the clothes at her house. Randy showed her his heavy bag and dropped it on the floor to demonstrate how heavy it was—15 kg. He then asked her to carry it, and she did so without any help from her left arm. When Randy asked who had healed her, she sweetly replied, “Jesus Christ.”
In 2023, Berenice fell at home and began having back problems. She was only 13 years old, and even carrying a bucket of water caused her pain. Today, during the meeting, she tested herself—she bent down and stood up with no pain at all! Evangelist Randy asked her to touch her toes several times, then handed her his heavy bag and asked her to do it again. She bent down repeatedly without pain, crying with joy.
Esmeralda started having epileptic seizures at one year of age and had seizures about five times a day. Her mother brought her on Night Three to testify that she had had no seizures since Night One, and can now lift her arms, something she couldn’t do before.
For eight years, Celestina had difficulty walking or even sitting; she could only lie down. Her grandson invited her to the crusade on Saturday, and as she listened about Jesus and received prayer, she began to move and walk. She later walked all the way home from the field without any pain, and came back to testify on the last night.
2025 is nearly over, with just one more crusade happening next week in Chiang Rai, Thailand. As we plan for 2026, can we count on your support? Please pray about becoming a CfaN Monthly Ministry Partner and becoming part of this worldwide harvest.
