Malange, meet Jesus! – Gospel Crusade

Dear Mission Partners,
It’s so good to be back in Africa! Mass crusades in Africa are the very heart of CfaN, and I could not be happier to be preaching here in Malange, Angola.
This is my first time preaching in Angola, new territory for CfaN. Angola was closed to the Gospel for decades. I’m sure that’s why there’s such a sense of hunger and anticipation in the people here. In fact, although the crusade only started at 4pm, the volunteer ushers and counselors began pouring on to the field at 2pm, too excited to wait.
That hunger was met by the Bread of Life! There was a strong response to the Gospel invitation and when it came time to pray for the sick, some beautiful healing testimonies.

Gabriel, 14 years old, could not hear anything with his right ear for almost a year. Onstage after the prayer for the sick, he covered his left ear, and I tested his hearing. I gave him a microphone and told him to repeat what I said, as I walked further and further away on the noisy stage. He was healed.
This crusade is happening in collaboration with Evangelist Randy Roberts, one of the first people to graduate from the CfaN Evangelism Bootcamp six years ago. I’m preaching the first two nights, and then Randy will step up to the plate. We are living in the fulfillment of the vision the Lord gave to ‘multiply and collaborate’ for the harvest!

Local church leaders welcomed me and Randy at the first meeting
Favor and Unity
We’ve had amazing favor here, including the government making an exception to let us use this field. This is the first event here that is not a political rally – the governor and officials are 100% behind us.
70% of the churches that have been identified in the city are participating in organizing the crusade. The vice governor along with the various denominational leaders officially declared the church of Malange unified for the first time in history, as they’ve never imagined being able to work with churches outside of their denominations until we started the crusade preparations in May. This is itself a huge testimony to the power of the Gospel!

Since 2019, Adriano had suffered from chest pain and couldn’t breathe properly. He was admitted to the hospital because he had pneumonia and hadn’t fully recovered – until tonight. Today, on stage, he ran back and forth, took deep breaths, and had no chest pain. He said he was very happy because he loves playing soccer, even though he hadn’t been able to play because of this issue. Evangelist Kolenda told him to play soccer tomorrow.

Teresa felt pain in her head, which also affected her teeth. She couldn’t be in loud places for over a year, but tonight at the crusade, the pain completely left. She couldn’t speak loudly or shout, but now she can speak and shout without any pain. She shouted the loudest “Hallelujah!” several times and declared that she was better as she broke down in tears. She promised to go to church this Sunday.
You can be part of this harvest. Would you consider making a gift today toward the crusades happening now and those still ahead in this final quarter of 2026?
And if you would like to stand with CfaN on a regular basis, please become a Monthly Ministry Partner. Monthly partners provide the steady foundation that enables us to plan ahead, train evangelists and go where the Lord calls us to go. Whether you give a gift today or become a monthly partner, thank you for helping us carry the Gospel to the multitudes. Together, we are believing God for an even greater harvest.
Africa shall be saved!
Yours for the Gospel,
Evangelist Daniel Kolenda
