Doing things God’s way – DRC Week 2 – Night 2
Dear Mission Partners,
Something I love about CfaN people is their eagerness to hear from the Holy Spirit and then do what He says. While every crusade is carefully planned, we also need to stay open to the still, small voice, because no two places are the same, no two crusades are identical. We’ve got to do things God’s way!
Last night in the DRC, in both locations, the CfaN-trained evangelists ministering there felt the Lord nudging them in a slightly different direction than usual. This is actually something we teach when we’re training evangelists – stay light on your feet, be ready to move, listen to the Lord!
From Likasi, Evangelist Jana Bielava told me, “There were so many children in the crowd the first night that we decided to conduct a special Youth Crusade for them this morning. Thousands of children gathered at the field, receiving Jesus as their savior, being baptized in the Holy Spirit. The children were dancing with joy at what the Lord has done for them. What we are seeing is a DOUBLE Harvest in the most forgotten area of this city.”
And in Kipushi, as he was preparing for the Night Two meeting, Evangelist Dario Giustino felt the Holy Spirit insisting that he change the sermon he was planning to preach. As he taught from Romans 10:13, the noisy crowd became completely still. What he shared with me is so powerful!
“That sermon turned out to be exactly what the people needed. Kipushi is known for its great darkness. It is known for child murder, for sacrificing children and humans to demonic gods. It is known for witchcraft temples and public prostitution. The worst of the worst is public and normalized in remote Kipushi.
But let me tell you this – the Gospel is hitting hard and piercing deep! These conversions are real lives changed. Jesus is pulling them out of death, sin, out of darkness, sickness, misery, despair, fear, and immorality!”
In both locations, there was a flood of miracles after the prayer for the sick.
For nearly ten years, Exaucé suffered from sharp, persistent pain in his left leg. During the prayer for the sick, he experienced a powerful touch from God. The pain instantly vanished, and in an incredible moment of joy and freedom, Exaucé ran across the stage, pain-free for the first time in years! As the crowd erupted in praise, Exaucé burst into tears. Evangelist Dario had to catch him as he collapsed, shaking under the overwhelming emotion of this miracle.
Nicole had a tumor on her right hand for 3 years. During the prayer, when the Evangelist said to touch the part of the body that hurts, she did so — and she was healed! The tumor disappeared. She immediately called her sister to share the miracle and then came forward to testify. They tested her healing by having her stretch out her hand.

For 20 years, Julie had problems in both ears. She couldn't hear properly, and liquid was constantly coming out of her ears. Despite using various medicines, nothing helped. During the prayer, she put her fingers in her ears — and all the pain stopped! She is now completely pain-free. They tested her hearing by having Evangelist David clap his hands, and Julie was able to repeat the number of claps.
Nyota had suffered from waist and back pain for 10 years. During the prayer, when the evangelists instructed everyone to place their hands where it hurt, she did so – and she was healed! They tested her healing by asking her to bend.

John was deaf in his right ear for eight long years. Tonight, as the evangelist prayed for the sick, John was able to hear with his right ear for the first time. When Evangelist Dario whispered the name of the city into the microphone, something miraculous happened… for the first time in EIGHT years, John was able to hear clearly – and he boldly repeated what Evangelist Dario had whispered: “KIPUSHI!”
As this wave continues, I want to invite you to join us in a deeper way. Will you become a Monthly Ministry Partner? Your monthly commitment allows us to respond quickly to open doors like Kipushi and Likasi, where Jesus is breaking chains and healing lives.
There are three nights of crusade meetings remaining in the DRC – please pray for strength, protection and energy for our teams as they hit the final stretch here.

What good can come from here? – DRC Week 2 – Night 1
Dear Mission Partners,
Imagine living in a town with such a bad reputation that it becomes a running joke in your area. Last night, CfaN Bootcamp graduate Evangelist Dario Giustino preached in a place called Kipushi. And in that region, there’s a saying: “What good can come from Kipushi?” – just like they used to say about Nazareth!
Well, the crusade last night turned that saying on its head! No preachers have wanted to come to this place before – it was the first night of the first crusade these people have ever seen. Dario told me, “As I arrived at the crusade field, my heart skipped a beat – there were so many people already gathered, thousands waiting to hear the Gospel!”
When he gave the altar call, it seemed like almost every hand shot into the sky, saying YES to Jesus. Then he prayed for the sick, and there were powerful testimonies confirming the Word.
One year ago, Kamana was in a motorbike accident. Since then, she had excruciating pain in her right hand. She couldn’t even cook or use a spoon to make porridge because her wrist couldn’t move. When she came to the crusade tonight, she was still in pain. But after the prayer, she was able to use her wrist fully again! Without hesitation, she even lifted a bag to test it. She thanked Jesus and was incredibly happy!
TWO simultaneous crusades in DRC this week!
Likasi is a big city, big enough for more than one crusade. So, Week Two in Likasi is at a different venue, enabling more of the city to hear the Gospel. Our crusade directors have spoken of the intense hunger among the church leaders, and hearing them cry out to the Lord in prayer for their city was deeply moving. God is answering those prayers this week!
The two evangelists in Likasi are CfaN Bootcamp graduates and veterans in the field now. Evangelist David Rotärmel preached the Gospel with thousands responding, while Evangelist Jana Bielava taught on healing and prayed for the sick. The field was packed, an excellent first night!
Petroni had pain in her eyes and was blind in her left eye for 2 years! During the prayer today, as Evangelist Jana was declaring, “Blind eyes open,” suddenly her left eye opened and she received her healing! She testified on the stage, able to see completely clearly.

David Rotärmel: As I stood on the side of the stage, looking over the crowd, I saw an older lady jumping up and down. From afar you could see, something has happened, and she most likely just received a mighty miracle. Then she came to the side of the stage to testify. Mama Africa had severe stomach pain that made it impossible for her to walk upright. During the prayer, she received complete healing. On the stage Mama Africa was able to bend, she was able to walk upright and even danced on the stage demonstrating that she is now completely pain free.
Basco, an elderly gentleman, had intense pain because of a hernia which made it impossible for him to bend. During the prayer today, he was completely healed, testifying on the stage by bending and dancing without any pain.

Antoinette couldn’t see from a distance – for so long that she couldn’t even remember how many years it had been. But after the prayer tonight, she was able to clearly see and identify the number of fingers Evangelist Dario was showing her. Jesus healed her vision!
What a great start to Week Two here in the Democratic Republic of the Congo! Such first nights are the result of months of hard work, a solid foundation of prayer, and the support of our faithful partners. Thank you for sending us! Would you consider becoming a Monthly Ministry Partner today?
