The whole city is upside down! – Zambia Campaign
Dear Mission Partners,
Sunday was the final night of the Gospel Crusade in Chililabombwe, Zambia. What a week it has been! Our team – who have conducted many crusades – shared that they had never seen such unity in the local churches. They came ready for God to move in their city, and they were not disappointed.
Listen to what one bishop sent to Evangelists Bret Sipek and Jana Bielava…
“Evangelists, you do not know what you have done. The whole city is upside down. We have never ever seen so many young people in a campaign. And our worship band is on fire. Chililabombwe will never be the same. Bishops and Pastors are all overwhelmed by God’s grace.”
This crusade was marked by many healings. Here are just a few that stood out.
Ruth had an issue of blood that wouldn’t stop for one causing her belly to swell. She visited hospitals but the doctors couldn’t tell what the problem was. After the prayer for healing on night two, the bleeding stopped and her abdomen returned to normal.
Kabanda had been admitted to hospital with heart failure this very week. He could not walk or even lift his legs for three years. He came with his wife on night three to testify that the night before, he had been healed and is now able to walk and jump with ease – no shortness of breath or weakness anymore!
Judith Ngosa had cervical cancer for 7 years with a cancerous tumor. After the prayer for sick, the tumor disappeared!
Gracious Chileshie broke her leg two years ago and was in so much pain. She was unable to jump. After receiving her healing, she demonstrated joyfully by jumping freely on stage.
Mrs Chewe used crutches to walk and her legs were bandaged to help with the pain. But she received her healing and testified that she can now stand and walk for long periods of time with no pain.
Raphel was born with crossed eyes and had bad vision his whole life. He shared that his sight was now completely normal. Evangelist Jana tested his healing by asking him to tell her what the cameraman – far away! – looked like. He even correctly spotted a tiny lion on the cameraman’s hat!
Monica suffered from chest pain and a terrible cough for fifteen long years. She testified that after the prayer for the sick, she could now breathe freely and without pain.
Our next Gospel Crusades are in Nampula, Mozambique and Thailand. The work continues! And so do the needs. Would you prayerfully consider becoming a committed Monthly Ministry Partner? The Joy of the Lord! – Zambia – Report 1
Dear Mission Partners,
I’ve just received a report from the Gospel Crusade in Chililabombwe, Zambia, where Evangelists Jana Bielava and Bret Sipek are preaching this week.
Local bishops and church leaders welcomed the team with great joy and anticipation for what God will do in their midst. Many of them have shared stories of how their lives and ministries were impacted when CfaN was last there – forty years ago!
Evangelist Jana preached the first two nights with passion and authority – thousands surrendered their lives to Jesus.
Evangelist Bret prayed for the sick, and as testimony after testimony was shared from the stage, the joy of the Lord erupted across the field. People were so reluctant to leave, they stayed well into the night, spontaneously praising and worshipping God!
There were wonderful testimonies of healing and deliverance:
This young mother, Peacefully, suffered with sharp pain in her belly whenever she tried to pick up anything heavy. After the prayer for the sick, the pain left her, and she was able to carry her baby without pain.
Namakau suffered with weak and watery eyes for eight long years. Overflowing with joy, she shared that she had been healed, and could now see clearly with no tears.
Kennedy, himself a minister of the Gospel, suffered for two years with bowel disease and neck pain. When he checked himself after prayer, he was completely pain free. He was so thankful to Jesus for his healing!
There are three more nights to go in Chililabombwe. Tonight, they will be breaking curses and burning barrels of witchcraft items. We’re believing God for salvation, healing and deliverance in Chililabombwe, such that this whole area will be talking about this crusade forty years into the future!
