Come and see what God has done! Uige, Angola
Dear Mission Partners,
The first night of the Gospel Campaign in Uige, Angola was a resounding success! Tens of thousands arrived, eager to hear the Good News. Anticipation has been building in the region for months, and the turnout on Night One showed just how hungry the people are.
Evangelist Roberts, a CfaN Bootcamp graduate, preached a powerful message and thousands responded, receiving a Now That You are Saved booklet. This guides them in their first steps of faith, and is also how new believers are connected to local churches immediately.
In the build-up to the campaign, strong foundations were laid in the local churches through a Women’s Conference and a Youth Conference. These encourage local believers and strengthen the churches as they prepare to disciple thousands of new believers.
Pastors and church leaders receive teaching and Holy Spirit fire during the Fire Conference in the mornings, encouraging them to step into their calling like never before.
Many people received their healing when Randy prayed for the sick, including this little boy, Elohim. His mother, Angela, described how he had lost sight in one eye in 2022. But after the prayer for the sick, Elohim was able to cover the good eye and count Randy’s fingers from across the stage, his eyesight fully restored!
This was only Night One! We are excited to see what God will do this weekend in Uige. Please keep praying for the team, and pray especially that hearts would be prepared for the Gospel – that many thousands more will “come and see what God has done” (Psalm 66:5).
